How To Draw a Dog using Tombow ABT Brush Pens
I attended a Free Dog Illustration Workshop at CASS ART Islington run by Andsmilestudio. Viktorija is a London based illustrator behind Andsmilestudio illustrations and products. She creates illustrations in her own unique style and brings her drawings to life with the use of bright colours as seen throughout all of her designs - All her drawings give off a happy and positive feeling!
According to Chinese Zodiac calendar 2018 is a year of the Earth Dog, so what a better way to celebrate than to learn how to illustrate man's best friend?
Viktorija showed us examples of how to draw some dog designs and how to use the Tombow ABT Brush pens. The brush pens were surprisingly easy to use, came in a wide range of colours and also came with brush pens to help blend colours together. We used the dual brush pens which were double ended - One end being a thick brush pen and the other being a stiff fine brush for small and controlled strokes.
He wasn't too keen on drawing at all, but after some encouragement, my partner tried his best and also drew a few dogs! He made good improvement and progress within the hour with the drawings he did.

I had fun doodling my favourite dogs! Above is a corgi and a pug drawn with the Tombow Brush Pens.
I love animals in clothes! So I draw this one in a red jumper looking cosy.
Draw one in my personal drawing style - A style that I find very easy to draw (This style is easier than doodling for me)!
Everyone at the table was creating such cute and colourful dog drawings! A creative lot to work around.
