Kaspa's Desserts

A new Kaspa's Desserts, a dessert parlor, recently opened in my home town, Romford. Having a flick through their menu on their website, I decided to go down and check it out! The parlor itself is located in a nice open space with a windowed store front - The interior was very bright along with the pink and black sofas and tables.

The menu was not huge but there was still a good range of desserts and drinks to choose from. We got the Hazelnut Choc Deluxe Sundae and the Bananaberry Crepe with Fresh Vanilla ice cream. The presentation of the sundae was amazing I had to say! It was a very pretty looking ice cream, looking too good to eat. The potion served compared to the price of the sundae was slightly overpriced, nonetheless, it was still very delicious and chocolatey. The crepe did not seem very attractive at first sight, BUT the taste definitely made up for it. The freshly made crepe was topped with sliced strawberries and banana and covered in hot melted milk chocolate - It also came with a small side of vanilla ice cream. The ingredients all just tasted perfect together and was a great combo.

With our desserts we also bought drinks, we had Mango Bubble Shake with Mango Jelly bits and White Hot Chocolate. The mango shake was surprisingly full of mango flavour and reminded me of mango pudding (my favourite dessert right now). It must has been the mango jelly bits on the bottom of the drink that taste very alike to mango pudding! The white hot chocolate felt disappointing to me, it really just tasted like heated warm milk. I got excited to order this because I had once sampled white hot chocolate in London and it tasted fantastic! However, this white hot chocolate they served only tasted like boiled warm milk.

I don't think I would go here again because the portions were fairly small for the prices they were charging. This 4 item dessert lunch we had at Kaspa's Dessert costed us £20 in total. Although I didn't have a great experience there, I would still recommend it to friends and family because there are not many places like this to eat within Romford.
