Ebi Prawn |
I love the setting of this
Eat Tokyo at Covent Gardens, London. There's a small indoor pond with koi fish upon entering the restaurant, which adds such a warm welcoming touch. My friend and I ordered Ebi Prawn (prawn tempura) and the Tokyo Dragon Roll (prawn tempura roll with eel and eel sauce) to share between us, and then 2 of the Chicken Teriyaki bento boxes that comes with miso soup. I love eating prawn tempura when its hot and wrapped in thick crispy batter - They're best to eat once served.

Tokyo Dragon Roll |
The presentation of the
Tokyo Dragon Roll was very attractive and appetizing. I loved the colours of the sushi, especially the contrast between the dark eel to the light prawn and rice. The eel sauce was actually slightly overwhelming for me to digest! It was just drenched in the sauce making it harder for me to swallow along with the eel meat, rice and the prawn tempura inside the roll. However, the taste of the dish was very fulfilling.
My favourite buy at Eat Tokyo, has to be the bento boxes they have on the menu! I think that it is such a generous and affordable price for what you receive. I always like to order the
Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box for £9, which comes with: salad, fried tofu, salmon avocado sushi, rice, pickles, chicken teriyaki, and also a bowl of miso soup. I love everything about this bento.. Well everything apart from the salad because I don't eat vegetables haha, so I usually give the salad away to my friends!

Chicken Teriyaki Bento |
My friend treated me to dessert and so we got
Green Tea Mochi Ice Cream. I do really love mochi ice cream! The texture of mochi is so delicate and easy to eat along with a nice, not so strong, flavour. Although eating ice cream mochi sometimes feels difficult because it isn't soft and requires you to bite straight into the ice cream with your front teeth! So it could hurt those with sensitive teeth :).
